My brief comments (for what it's worth):

CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX - [Largely unfamiliar with their music, as looks deceive, you might be mistaken for thinking they would seem more at home at a Hell's Angel's Convention (listen to the intro to "A Lack of Common Sense").  Daisy Chapman, ivory tinkler of the band, tweeted of the Lorelei audience, "if you're not wearing a band T-shirt with a gothic font, you're nobody". I had consequently imagined them to be an American outfit - what was I thinking? Parallels have been drawn in that they have been described as "a mixture of quiet heavy guitar riffs combined with the psychedelic sound of the young Pink Floyd". Apparently vocalist/guitarist Daniel Änghede was playing only his second gig with the band. A dark sound, I found something quite appealing about the band's music.

Current line-up:
Justin Greaves – electric guitar, drums, saw, keyboard, acoustic guitar, banjo, effects, samples
Karl Demata – electric guitar, dobro, slide guitar
Christian Heilmann – bass guitar
Mark Furnevall – synthesizer, keyboards
Ben Wilsker – drums
Mark Ophidian – modular synth, keyboard
Daniel Anghede - vocals

Lorelei featured Daisy Chapman on Keyboards.
