My brief comments (for what it's worth) - SATURDAY: SUBSIGNAL - [German-based band with (I think) a Dutch vocalist - largely forgettable. Line-up: Vocals, Keyboards: Arno Menses; Guitars: Markus Steffen; Bass: Ralf Schwager; Drums: Roel van Helden and Keyboards: David Bertok.] THE PINEAPPLE THIEF - [Man, I love this band - saw them at the Half Moon Junction in Putney. Some say there's a Radiohead connection here but I don't know. I think PT are just PT. Vocalist & guitarist Bruce Soord has such energy on stage and a magnificent detached sort of stage presence. Hugely underrated and hugely enjoyable, they proved popular at this event. Line-up: Bruce Soord : guitars/lead vocals; Jon Sykes : bass/backing vocals; Keith Harrison : drums and Steve Kitch : keyboards.] LAZULI - [next page] PURE REASON REVOLUTION - [next pages] PENDRAGON - [next pages] STEVE HACKETT & BAND - [next pages] MARILLION'S SCRIPT FOR A JESTER'S TEARSHOW by Mick Pointer & Friends - [next pages] |
