My brief comments (for what it's worth) - SATURDAY: LAZULI - [Eclectic band from the south of France, obviously hugely talented musicians and interesting visually, I found that I tired of them easily though they did prove hugely popular with the audience. I didn't think their lead vocalist particularly good if I have to be honest and also didn't like the sound of the lead guitar. Their encore which saw them all join on the marimbas brought the house down. Again, I say, great musicians but essentially not my cup of tea. Line-up: CLAUDE LEONETTI: Léode; SYLVAIN BAYOL: Warr Guitar; GEDERIC BYAR: Guitar; DOMINIQUE LEONETTI: vocal, Guitar; YOHAN SIMEON: Percussion, Métalophone, choeurs and FREDERIC JUAN: Marimba, Vibes, Percussion.] PURE REASON REVOLUTION - [next pages] PENDRAGON - [next pages] STEVE HACKETT & BAND - [next pages] MARILLION'S SCRIPT FOR A JESTER'S TEARSHOW by Mick Pointer & Friends - [next pages] |
